What is Network? Network is a dynamic program to help Christians understand who God has uniquely made them to be and mobilize them to a place of meaningful service in the local church. The participants are taught the biblical nature and purpose of the church as the body of Christ and the unique importance of each member’s contribution You’ve heard the expression; “You can’t fit a square peg into a round hole.” For many people, that phrase is a perfect description of their experience of serving within the church. Something wasn’t right! Most believers have generous hearts. They want to serve, but don’t know how they can best serve. Network is about how to find God’s design for serving according to who He has made us to be. Its goal is to help us become fruitful and fulfilled in a meaningful place of service.Who Should Take Network? Network is geared for all believers who want to make a contribution to the church that will be personally fulfilling and will impact the lives of others. Network is the class of choice for those who want to feel greater enthusiasm and energy about serving God and others. The church has been called ‘The Body of Christ’. Knowing your role within the Body helps fulfill what God wants to accomplish through the church. What Can I Expect to Learn? Network’s three step process allows you first to learn about yourself. Your unique passions, gifts and style form a profile for service Next, you’ll meet with Sandy or Sean Althaus who will help you identify potential places of service based on your profile. Finally, you’ll be able to pursue with confidence an area of service. Your role in the Body of Christ at San Gabriel Presbyterian will be fruitful and fulfilling!
