Women's Ministry at San Gabriel Presbyterian Church Presbyterian Women Women's Bible Study: The women meet each Wednesday morning at 9:30am in the Music Room for a Bible study. Newcomers are welcome! (Begins again on September 12, 2007) Monthly Ladies Lunch! Second tuesday of each month at 11:30AM. Held at restaurants in the Georgetown area. Please consult the calendar for this month's location. Emmaus Women's Reunion Group Meeting All women who have attended a Walk to Emmaus are invited to join the reunion group which meets each Monday afternoon at 2:00P.M.
Men's Ministry at San Gabriel Presbyterian Church Men's Bible/Book Study. Saturdays at 8:00AM at SGPC. Monthly Men's Breakfast: 2nd Saturday of the month at 8:30A.M. Men's Emmaus Group Reunion Meeting: All men who have attended a Walk to Emmaus are invited to join the reunion group, which meets each Monday evening from 7-8pm in the church library.
Youth Ministry at San Gabriel Presbyterian Church SGPC Youth Group: Fellowship and mission activities scheduled throughout the year including the annual pumpkin carving party, bowling, camping, park clean-up, Christmas Stroll Parade, Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Mo-Ranch retreats and more. More Fun Activities at SGPC SGPC Dinners for Eight: Dinners for 8 is an opportunity for extended fellowship with SGPC family members over a four-month period. The groups of 8, assigned by the coordinating committee, will gather for a meal once a month. The third weekend of each month is the suggested time. Groups choose Friday night, Saturday morning or evening, Sunday lunch after church or Sunday evening. Individuals may host the group in their homes with everyone bringing food, or go "Dutch-treat" to a local restaurant. Project Day! Held throughout the year on Fridays at 9:30A.M. Join the group for fun and fellowship as they work on various projects such as scrapbooking, needlepoint, sewing, and lots more. No previous craft experience necessary! The group usually ends up going out for lunch after crafting. Please consult the calendar to see where the group is meeting each Friday. SGPC Travel Club! Meeting monthly on the 3rd Thursday at 7:00PM. September - May. Join Dr. Joe Miller and guests as they travel to destinations around the globe! Sessions are informative for those planning travel, for those wanting to "revisit" places they have traveled, and for those who are just interested in learning more about our beautiful world. For further information, contact Joe Miller Thursday Evening, Co-Ed Bible Study: Quinton Everest is opening the Men's Bible study to anyone who would like to attend. The group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings at 7:00PM in the SGPC library. The focus for the fall will be the Psalms. Quinton will provide context including authorship and different types of Psalms. There will be selected Psalms each week and the group will discuss their relevance for prayer, confronting adversity, worship, and much more. Partner Marathon Bridge: Resumes in October and continues with monthly games through April. "Partners" refers to any two people who partner up for the year.
